How to clean a washing machine?
Every washing machine needs a clean to its drum preferably once a month. The simple procedure will help tackle mold and limescale buildup as well as unpleasant smells.
Just put 500ml of white vinegar, about 50g of bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) inside the drum of your washing machine and run 90 degrees washing cycle.
You can clean detergent drawer and rubber gasket around the door opening by leaving there a small old towel or cloth soaked in 50:50 mixture of vinegar and water (or 50:50 mixture of bleach and water) and then rub it off with an old tootbrush (if you have stubborn marks), use sponge with some washing up liquid and water to do the final clean.
This method works best for front loading washing machines.
